RF Low Insertion Loss Compact Microwave Waveguide Bandpass Filters
A waveguide filter is a type of transmission line filter. Generally, a waveguide filter consists of discontinuities and transmission line segments. Both can be equivalent to the corresponding lumped parameter elements and circuits, the waveguide discontinuous structure provides equivalent reactance, the equivalent resonant cavity of the transmission line segment, and so on. A waveguide filter contains one or a filter with a function of frequency selection, which can separate frequencies, that is, to suppress unwanted frequency signals by signals of a desired frequency, which is one of the core designs in radio technology. Waveguide filters have high Q values, low insertion loss, and good temperature stability, and are especially suitable for narrow-band applications. In the frequency range of 1.7 to 26GHz, 0.2% to 3.5% bandpass filtering can be achieved, and it is widely used in various military electronic products that require high performance filtering characteristics.
